IT and software for dental and medical practices
Small practices run on a handful of systems nobody owns: the practice-management software, the imaging box in the corner, a domain somebody set up years ago, and a front desk holding it together. It works until it does not.
Where we usually start
A short assessment that tells you what you actually have and what is exposed.
- Email and domain security — most practices have no DMARC record at all
- Backups that have actually been tested, not just configured
- Who still has access after they left
- Practice-management and imaging systems that nobody has patched
- Digital intake forms to replace the clipboard
- A vendor and licence audit that usually pays for itself
The email problem specifically
Without DMARC, anyone on the internet can send email that looks like it came from your front desk — to patients, to staff, to your bookkeeper. It is the cheapest serious gap in a practice, and closing it takes about a week.
Across the Colorado Springs practices we have scanned, the overwhelming majority had no DMARC enforcement whatsoever. We audit the domain, show the owner exactly what a spoofed message from their own address looks like, then move them to enforcement without breaking legitimate mail.
